Producer, Writer and Director, Michael J. Saul has been an artist and filmmaker since he was 17. His short films, including MORNING DANCE, DOMINUS, and HOVER (which made its debut at OUTFEST, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival), have been seen in film festivals around the world.
In 2004, Michael’s first feature film, TRUE LOVE, was released on DVD. A poignant anthology of short stories, TRUE LOVE has become a popular title. In 2009, SCENES OF INQUIRY, a collection of his short films Michael made with long-time collaborator, composer Steven M. Miller, was released on DVD. His most recent releases include CRUSH, 2010 on DVD and the multi award-winning short film GO GO REJECT.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Michael grew up a suburban teen in the turbulent 70s, and uses his personal experience and memories of that difficult time as the impetus for much of his work.
Michael currently lives in Los Angeles, where he paints, writes and produces visual images for films, museums and live programming. He is also a multi-award winning producer of corporate videos and has several future projects in development.
